We want to bring to you not only tasty pickles and products, but we also want to share history with you. History that we spent time and effort learning from our grandparents, passed on to share traditional tastes with everyone.

  • One of the important aspect is the quality of the product. Many people mistake quality with price and choose price over quality. We want to change that mindset with our quality.
  • The other aspect of quality that we are providing is by not using any permissible or non-permissible additives, colourants, preservatives, regulators, vinegar or any other chemical. What you consume is free from any intentionally added chemicals unlike the pickles you buy from shop shelves. We care about what you consume in pickles as much as we do for ourselves.
  • How we make and what we mix makes the difference. Our pickles are made from fruits and vegetables that we grow in our own farms without using any pesticides and insecticides. The reason for that is we do not grow these for commercial purposes. We use our produce, only to make our pickles and that is how we give you a quality product which is good for you.
  • The groundnut and sesame oil are sourced from the oil mills freshly made. The turmeric we use is high quality turmeric and also the red chilli powder made from our organically grown chillies in our farms then dried and powdered.
  • We are a group of professionals who have high international exposure and education. We worked for government organizations and in MNC’s. Our exposure to various styles of living, food eating habits and the quality we got during our international stay and work, got us thinking to imbibe the quality in one of our cultural habit of consuming pickles and fortunately it is our’s too. That is when Granny’s Pickles is ideaized.
  • We want to speak to you through our pickles, that’s the language of our ancestors. We want to honour and celebrate and revive the art of making pickles in the most basic but beautiful way.

Additional information

Typical Andhra Chintakayi (Green Tamarind/Raw Tamarind) pickle. The raw tamarinds are gathered from farmers and from village households. They are washed by hands, dried and used to make the pickle. You will feel the sourly tingle of the green tamarind. We don’t add any additives or preservatives. We make in limited quantity.
